The Prompt Kitchen

A free, practical knowledge base about using AI tools in everyday life — written for people who want to actually get things done, not read another think-piece about the future of work. Covers prompt writing, workflows, real use cases, and the honest limitations of current tools.

What I've built on the job

Selected projects from my work as a Cloud Engineer. These are professional, not open-source — but they represent the kind of problems I solve and the scale I work at.

Active

Enterprise AI Model Inventory

Led the design and development of a platform that ingests every AI model across a large enterprise, runs automated compliance checks against defined AI standards, and gives leadership a clear view of where models stand. Scaled to support ~50 new models per month, with auditability built in from day one.

AI Inventory Adoption Dashboard

Built a Tableau dashboard to give management visibility into adoption of the AI Model Inventory — tracking which teams were on board, where gaps existed, and how uptake trended over time. Turned a messy adoption story into a clean executive-facing data product.

On-Premise to GCP Data Migration

Led migration of on-premises healthcare databases to Google Cloud over several years at Infosys. Built Airflow DAGs in Cloud Composer for scheduling, developed BigQuery query patterns for healthcare data, and put data quality rules in place to ensure ingested data was actually trustworthy.

Built under pressure

24-hour sprints where constraints force clarity. These projects prove the concept fast — and sometimes place.

DriftGuard

A CVS Health company hackathon entry built in 24 hours using Claude AI. DriftGuard is an AI skill that monitors GCP deployments for environmental drift — catching configuration changes before they become incidents. On top of drift detection, it automatically scans codebases for test coverage (pytest), code quality (pylint), SQL hygiene (sqlfluff), and company coding standards compliance. The full pipeline runs without human intervention and surfaces findings in a structured report.

Side projects

Things I build for fun, out of curiosity, or because the tool I wanted didn't exist yet.

Live

Tornado Tracker

An interactive historical tornado path explorer. Visualize and filter US tornado tracks from past decades by year, state, and EF-scale intensity. Built with Leaflet.js and historical storm data.

Neon Tiles

An interactive generative AI synthesizer keyboard built on Google Flow Music. Trigger synth patches and custom neon visualizers in real-time.

Rhythm Rider

An interactive generative AI music space built on Google Flow Music. Trigger and remix synthesizers, drum loops, and dynamic visualizers in real-time.

Arcane Frontiers

A Minecraft modpack built for my family to play together — with a twist: I had Claude pick all the mods and make every design decision, so none of us knew what was in it going in. Pure exploration, no spoilers. Currently on v1.2.0.

Proton Local MCP

Self-hosted MCP server connecting Claude to Proton Mail, Calendar, Standard Notes, Spotify, health data, gaming stats, and more — all local, all private. Built because I wanted Claude to know my context without sending it to a third party.

AchievTrack

Single-file achievement tracker for Nintendo Switch, Steam, and RetroAchievements — dark-mode UI, localStorage persistence, and AI-generated Nintendo achievements via Claude. No backend, no dependencies.

ShinyQuestFlask

Pokémon shiny hunting companion app built for me and a friend — live and in active use. Tracks hunt counters, methods, and success stats with a full user account system. Built because the grind deserves something better than a spreadsheet.

Grow a Garden Crop Calculator

A calculator for the Grow a Garden game — because spreadsheets are fine but a purpose-built tool is better. Naturally, a gardening fan built a gardening game tool.

SWTOR Personal Tracker

A personal Star Wars: The Old Republic companion app — tracks characters, progress, and whatever else I need to keep organized across my time in the galaxy far, far away. Deployed and live on Fly.io.

Town of Salem AI Sim

An AI-powered Town of Salem simulation — roles, accusations, night actions, and all the social deduction chaos, run by Claude. Built to see how an AI handles the bluffing, logic, and betrayal the game is built on.

WoW Anniversary Tracker

A tracker for World of Warcraft's anniversary event — keeps tabs on what's been completed, what's left, and what's worth doing. Built for my own use because the in-game UI isn't exactly generous with that information.
