Everything I've built and run
Live apps, tools, and creative projects — each one built for a real purpose, not just to have something to show.
Live sites
On the web
The Prompt Kitchen
A free, no-nonsense AI knowledge base for everyday people. No jargon, no paywalls, no hype — just practical techniques for getting real things done with AI tools. This is the side project that makes the most sense given everything else about me.
ShinyQuestFlask
A Pokémon shiny hunting companion app built for me and a friend — live and in active daily use. Tracks hunt counters, methods, and success stats with a full user account system. Built because the grind deserves something better than a spreadsheet.
Lorerim Journal
A character journal for Lorerim — a Skyrim modpack I play for roleplay. Tracks character stats, level, faction, backstory, and a full journal of adventure entries. Everything auto-saves locally in the browser, no backend needed. Built because my RP needed a home.
York Develops Blog
Writing about data engineering, cloud infrastructure, AI, and whatever I'm building or thinking about. No editorial schedule, no newsletter — just posts when I have something worth saying. First post incoming.
Games & modpacks
Built for fun
Arcane Frontiers
A Minecraft modpack built for my family to play together — with a twist: I had Claude pick all the mods and make every design decision so none of us knew what was in it going in. Pure exploration, no spoilers. Currently on v1.2.0 and still going.
Grow a Garden Crop Calculator
A purpose-built calculator for the Grow a Garden game. Because spreadsheets are fine but a dedicated tool is better — and a gardening fan building a gardening game tool makes perfect sense.
More on GitHub
Everything else — experiments, tools, and projects in various states of done. Some finished, some perpetually "almost done."
